Alex at the Joker (not that Alex, the other one) told us yesterday about how his dog Max enjoys shagging a toy stuffed elephant at home.
He told us that Max has literally now literally shagged the stuffing out of this elephant.
He told us that the elephant started off life with a happy face but now has the kind of haunted visage which you only wear when you have war stories.
I asked if the elephant had a name. Alex said no, that would be too much. Too personal. Fair enough.
