I see there’s a British guy doing well at Wimbledon.
My favourite was Tim Henman. Unconvincing fist pumps and getting humped in the semi-final. It’s the British way.
I kind of hope the new guy is just as disappointing.
Sport and the love of sport is mad. Imagine you had all those “panels” of men talking about football in between the actual football, and then the three or four of them put the same effort into talking about how to make the world a better place.
Imagine all the men in pubs who talk about football and imagine that energy being put into something constructive.
Would anything change?
Or are we stuck forever in a vortex of pure trivia?
