If you do come to the quiz regularly and would like to win, you should consider flicking through an atlas once in a while.
The fact that countries have lines round them make them ideal for writing questions for pub quizzes. They are defined. And one of the things we are looking when writing is a nicely defined answer.
Countries fit this bill perfectly. Maps lend themselves perfectly to trivia.
However, most quizgoers are terrible at geography, despite it being a fairly easy thing to get your head around.
Take Africa, for instance, there are only 54 countries. They hardly ever change. You can learn them fairly easily and roughly where they are. That’ll take care of most African geography questions that ever rear their head.
My best advice is go to Sporcle and do quizzes there when you’d otherwise be scrolling Facebook. Try this one, for example
