So last Monday was a bit of a shit show. I couldn’t get back from Manchester in time for Brass Leith and Manet was unable to get to Ryan’s.
Man, what a blowout.
No storm tonight, we’re back to normal now. Well, as normal as things get during the festival (Brass Drummond St is off, of course).
True normality will return in September and I think I heard that the alien invasion is due for November, so we’ll maybe get a couple of months out of it.
Meanwhile, there are all the regular background threats. Wouldn’t it just be typical if we completely destroyed Earth by nuclear war, JUST before the aliens arrive.
Doh!
Hopefully such an imagined scenario will put into context little errors like getting bust in the double-or-bust round on a question you heard before but still got wrong. Ah.
