I keep hearing on the news that there’s a general election coming and the style of news reporting invites me to be excited about the prospect.
Will it be in Spring? Will it be in the Autumn? Or will he push it all the way to the end of the year? Ooh. How exciting.
But then it’s presented as a choice between only Starmer and Sunak. You know right now that neither of them will change anything. So why bother being interested or excited? My only prediction: a very low turnout.
