The music round at the Safari tonight is all TV themes. I never really know if this kind of round is a good idea or not.

Anyway – one of the themes included is ‘Mork & Mindy’ which used to be on TV when I was a kid and starred Robin Williams who is now universally beloved.

But I never really used to like it. I thought the Williams character was pitiable and educationally subnormal. It made me uncomfortable, I didn’t like it. I think we were supposed to think of him as some kind of idiot-savant. I just thought he was an idiot.

Also the theme tune is utter pish (see video)…
