People you meet at the quiz.

So there’s someone who I know at the quizzes and I said “What have you been up to lately?” and she said she had bought lego.

Great. Lego is superb stuff. Toy of the century, as it happens.

But this is ‘Stranger Things’ lego, part of the modern way which is very-specific sets rather than just a big mad box of different bricks like I used to have.

So I asked how much she paid.

She said “guess”.

I said “Oh god – it’ll be something mental, won’t it? Is it over £50?”

Turns out she paid more than TWO HUNDRED POUNDS.

I honestly hope it’s worth it.
