Pub Quizzes in Edinburgh Tonight:

7pm – Brass Monkey Leith. Jackpot: £150. Cheat: Dutch(pic round)

9pm – Safari Lounge. Jackpot £120. Cheat news: Lonestar (pic round)

Big mad ton fifty at the Brass, tonight

And here is the cheat music round clue for tonight. It’s Lonestar at the Safari Lounge:

The Cult, tearing up the mid-eighties

Lonestar look like “good ol’ boys”, which is to say they like cooked meat, smoking guns and passive women. To be fair, that’s entirely up to them.

Back on our own shores, both jackpots are sexy like Eurovision tonight. Come to both quizzes, win ’em and you’ll be nearly £300 to the good.

What could you do with that money? Maybe a last-minute trip to Tel Aviv for Eurovision which is now just over a week away.

Perhaps you could buy a set of Trivial Pursuit. Every home should have one.

But right now, Eurovision is more important that Triv and, in fact, it’s time for my Top 5 prediction.

It’s very difficult to pick a winner this year, but here we go:

  1. Cyprus
  2. Italy
  3. Netherlands
  4. Australia
  5. Greece

The 2019 Eurovision line-up is great. There are potential surprise winners all over the place: Malta and Czech Republic to name but two.

But of course, the real winners should be either be Portugal for their mad art piece or BDSM champs Hatari from Iceland.

Watch this if you haven’t already:

Blimey.

See ya later – x
