Monday has appeared like a creepy ghost of last week. And just like last week there are two quizzes tonight but that’s the last time that will happen as young quizmaster Joshua will be starting at the Saint Andrews Brewing Company as from next Monday.
Joshua is a hip young quizmaster with many questions and answers ahead of him. you’ll like him!
Meanwhile, here is the cheat music for tonight’s quiz at the Safari. It’s 80s super-legends the Fine Young Cannibals .
Well – I call them super-legends, but I don’t think The Fine Young Cannibals had a huge amount of hits.
They just showed up, defined mid-80s UK pop and then fucked off again before becoming tired, worn-out and irrelevant, unlike, arguably, The Pet Shop Boys.
In fact, looking up their discography I discover that they had 5 x Top Ten hits and lasted for about five years. These are the right numbers for a pop band.
