Where did the weekend go? Same place they all go: France.
It’s the of the only bits of Brexit I can support: at least we won’t have to send our weekends to the continent any more. Perhaps that extra time we get back will be worth all the hassle after all.
What hassle is that? Well, there was Polish guy in the Safari Lounge last week and he predicts that a “no deal” Brexit will result in cucumbers which cost three pounds.
Three quid? For a cucumber? Blimey: I can’t think about it.
Anyway, here’s the cheat music for tonight’s quiz at the Brass Monkey Leith. It’s from 1992 which almost automatically makes it amazing:
1992? Wow. Everyone was loved-up, raving and splendid.
Looking back at the stats now, you can see there was supposed to be a heavy economic recession in the early 1990s but to be honest, acid was £3 a tab, so we never noticed.
I don’t do drugs any more so the marking at tonight’s quiz will be competent. You don’t have to worry about that.
