Quizzes in Edinburgh Tonight:

9pm – Safari Lounge. Jackpot £30. Cheat news: B-52s (music round)

Right – I know I’ve screwed this up twice already this month but tonight’s music round at the Safari DEFINITELY INCLUDES The B-52s:

The song is called ‘Butter Bean’ and doesn’t start in this video until 8’35” but I’ve linked to this video so you can see a couple of their other songs. They really are the greatest band in pop history.

I could give you some long explanation about how I got this totally wrong on two separate occasions but that would be tedious. It’s got something to do with shelves and months. I’ll leave it at that.

Anyway, come to the quiz, especially the Safari cos its always a bit quieter there which is a shame cos its an ace boozer.

Remember: tonight’s pub quizzes are located less than a mile apart. You could, feasibly, do the double (and people do).

First one at the Brass Leith finishes at 8.30pm and the second one at the Safari Lounge begins at 9pm (although I don’t usually hit the first question until about 10 past or quarter past)

I might be on the bike tonight but if I’m getting a taxi  I’m always happy to give you a lift between the two places. Free of charge!
