Wednesday Delight – Evening Pub Quizzes for Your Delight

Quizzes tonight:

7pm – The Joker & The Thief. Jackpot £60. Cheat: Ashanti (music round)

9pm – Brass Monkey, Drummond Street. Jackpot £90 Cheat: James Franco (pic round)

Tonight sees the final quiz at Brass Monkey Drummond Street until September. The Monkey is situated right in the heart of the festival maelstrom and it means the bar is too transient to achieve quiz during August. Come along tonight to win the cash: £90

All other quizzes continue as normal during the great annual disruption.

Tonight’s music round cheat bonus at the Joker & The Thief is Ashanti and she sounds like this:

Everyone is falling out with each other in the video. It’s like one giant bad mood.

High production values though, like a movie…

Dead Pool resumes tonight, taking entries for August droppers…

Meanwhile, Cunto cards continue to fly. If you want a packet of the game that’s rocking the nation, hit me up – I usually have two or three packets with me at the quiz.

You can also get them online

Look at the happy people playing Cunto at the Joker last week. Yeah:

People playing Cunto
Cunto!

Yo!

Wednesday Was Built For You

Quizzes tonight:

7pm – The Joker & The Thief. Jackpot £30. Cheat: Rod Stewart (music round)

9pm – Brass Monkey, Drummond Street. Jackpot £30 Cheat: Wellington (music round)

Here’s the music round cheat for the Monkey:

It’s the greatest song ever written and the greatest video ever made. It’s the moment when Rod Stewart single-handedly broke the seventies into small pieces and created what we still call “the eighties.”

The youtube comments on the video seem to be an awful lot to do with Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

One bloke says

"GTA on PS2... best time of my life"

– that’s the entire comment and it has 1400 likes.

Is it me or is that hugely sad? All these people? And playing a computer game was the BEST time of their LIFE?

It’s a cliche, but they NEED TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE.

You can get out the house tonight. At the q uiz. And maybe even out of your mind. If you do, that’s fine. I’m not your dad although, increasingly, I’m old enough to be so.

By the way, I had a bit of downtime but Cunto cards are back in stock and I will have a few decks with me tonight if you’re looking for a pack.
