By the way, here is the cheat nugget for tonight’s music round at the Tolbooth Tavern. It’s McFly who perfected their lads-with-guitars sound in the mid 2000s. They were slightly more convincing than Busted but eventually the country wasn’t big enough for both bands and they had to merge.

That was the 2000s. I wasn’t paying much attention to pop music at the time. I was probably listening to Belle and Sebastian, Pink Floyd and ELO.

Looking back, there were possibly some slightly tedious afternoons.

Anyway, I’ll be playing proper pop music between the questions tonight so no need to worry about getting Floyd-ed.
