7pm – The Joker & The Thief. Jackpot £30. Cheat: Kate Bush (music round)
9pm – Damm 27. Jackpot £40. Cheat: Pan’s Labyrinth(pic round)
9pm – Brass Monkey, Drummond Street. Jackpot £30 Cheat: Alicia Keys (music round)
Kate Bush is one of the cheat answers for tonight’s quizzes.
But what is the meaning of Kate Bush?
As was often the case, Gungawins found the best expression of sentiment:
Here is the song which features at the Joker And The Thief (7pm):
It’s a fan made video (had a few of those recently) so there’s no story there. It’s later Kate Bush so you won’t automatically like it.
But you don’t need to like it, you just need to know it.
I tend to put things in the music round that I actually like but I try to shake myself out of this and keep adding variety. If there’s an artist who never ever seems to be in the music round and you’re sick of my choices, then let me know who I’m missing.
Anyway: another music round clue, this time for the Brass Monkey (9pm).
The Brass music round includes this one by Alicia Keys
There is not literally a girl on fire. It’s a metaphor.
Anyway, make sure your team is not on actual fire when you bring them to the boozer tonight.
Apart from upsetting health & safety it would be actually dangerous.
And I’m trying to get through this in one piece. Sometimes it’s all I ask.
Remember that if you want something classy, Damm 27 hosted by Shawn should be your option. Shawn’s from South Africa but you can understand what he’s saying, so it’s cool.
