   Great ideas Daniel.I have found I get a lot of success from mentioning something they recently wrote about and how I felt about it or how I can use one of the tips they suggested. Guest posting is about building good relationships, you should be familiar with the blog and content they are creating. This will lead to better content on your end and this type of respect for their work is really appreciated many bloggers spend countless hours on their blog.

   For the salt, were you measuring using kosher salt or table salt? I usually use kosher salt for pickling and table salt for recipes. Just want to make sure it is not too salty.
