I had a nice wee extra gig down in the basement of the Newsroom the other week doing a quiz for the staff of Thomson Solicitors.

The deal was that the staff from the Glasgow office came through to join their Edinburgh colleagues, so that opened up a convenient Glasgow v Edinburgh aspect to the quiz.

The final scores were Glasgow 38 – 27 Edinburgh and this heavy defeat was compounded by the fact that everyone from Glasgow managed to do this whilst five times as pissed.

Stereotypes are sometimes true 🙂
