A pal of mine once told me to always bet on favourites.

This proved to be ifne advice last week at the Newsroom, where I spotted a team who were quite smart before the event. They spotted without prior knowledge that the music round is divided into possible pairs. I told them that they were favourites for the quiz and they called themselve “The Favourites”.

Whaddya Know: they won.

But no jackpot this week – it rolls over to be £90 this coming Thursday (30th Sep)
