After a tight quiz, PICTURE THREE LOOKS LIKE IRISH MARK were the champions (this is the outfit sometimes known as MIND CRUSHERS).

Irish Mark responded to this by “accidentally” unplugging the sound system to turn the ice cruusher machine on. Eventually the cause was found and the quiz went on.

It was close all the way but the Irish Mark team held their nerve and closed out the last round with a nice 3 out of 3 from 5 answers. That’s the way to play the Minefield.

John from the team didn’t make the photo above but was on hand to take a cunning victory in the Top Trumps and face the BEAST again.

Phil COllins’s riddle this week:

Q. When Phil Collins goes out for dinner, what is his favourite starter?

A. The Soup

B. Deep Fried Mushrooms

C. Mussels

John went for Mussels, a fair shout seeing as that’s a living thing but the answer is soup, because it reminds Phil Collins of drinking the blood of orphans and there’s always the chance that its Oxtail which means a cow has to die.
